I traveled to Kenya, and I noticed my YouTube recommendations started to show anti-China videos. I noticed this back in 2008. One in particular, which I believe YouTube likely manipulated the algorithm to make it viral was tgat of a young Chinese man calling the president of Kenya a monkey. This was suddenly being discussed everywhere, even being brought up in a top panel discussion of subject relating to China's investment in Africa.
Ask yourself, how can such comment made by a young Chinese citizen not even working for the Chinese government go viral like that? When there are actually more racist comments or actions carried out by the governments of western countries that is not even discussed or that go viral.
