Why does media keep on presenting that "India must play a role in Afghanistan"; otherwise India is "left out". Russia (former USSR), USA and Pakistan were already militarily involved in Afghanistan. China has become a big military power and a neighbor of Afghanistan. India doesn't want to get militarily involved in Afghanistan, it only supports peace-time developmental works there. So "India is left out" statement has no meaning. Look at China; it first sufficiently developed itself sufficiently in economic as well as in military terms, and then it started involving with other countries.
