I read in another article at a farmer auctioned off a piece of ridiculously expensive farm equipment that he bought about 20 years ago which was still in working order. He received $150 for his auctioned item.

The Purdue Center for Commercial Agriculture’s latest producer survey, which was conducted last month and released Tuesday, showed a record-high 78% of farmers said they believe the trade war will ultimately benefit U.S.
They are misguided in this belief. The Chinese are finding alternative sources to what the farmers produce. The business is not coming back at the levels they were at before the trade war started.
The farmers are in danger of ending up in the same way but hey as long as Trump gets to say I won, I suppose it would be worth it.
