So lemme get this right. We supposedly went to the moon in 1969 in a program developed on sliderules yet we seem to have real trouble doing it today with over 50 years of drastically advanced technology??? Always did find it amazing that they were able to pull it off in 69 without one single glitch, especially when Armstrong suddenly took manual control of the LEM with less than a minute of fuel left and not knowing exactly where he was going under what had to be massive stress, both somehow causually and expertly flew the LEM in an untested 1/6th Earth gravity environment to an utterly smooth landing beyond a boulder field. Drama until the very end and a perfectly flat landing spot?! Is that really believable? As a career 35-year military pilot, my old man called BS on it as he said despite all of their simulator hours, one had to have actually flown the simulated environment to correlate flight dynamics in the simulator. ↑:2 ↓:0

for anyone that thinks that the moon landings were faked, quit blindly believing those conspiracy theory shows (you realize they can give false info in them right?) and go to a sporting goods store and buy a really good and fairly expensive telescope and look at the moon with your own 2 eyes. the USA flags that were put there during those moon landings are still there. 1 has tipped over (I think the first one), but the other are standing, but they are not red white and blue anymore because the suns rays have faded them white (the moon doesn't have an atmosphere to slow down the fading of the colors like the earth does)
I don't know the reason we have not sent humans back, but I imagine its because its costly, dangerous and there is no reason to. why send a person when we can send up a satellite and unmanned spacecraft to do mush more research for far cheaper and for longer durations ↑:0 ↓:2

It is so obvious that the Chinese form of government is infinitely superior to that of the US. They make plans for 50 to 100 years down the road and do not vary from them. These plans always do what is best for the Chinese people. The US is fading away as the global leader. It has no moral authority. US population is at war with each other. Once Trump's second term is over, the country will be well on the path to permanent schism. Secession. The hate in America will split it into smaller countries before the end of the century. Meanwhile, China is already the manufacturing hub of the world. The whole point of space mining would be to fuel the manufacturing industry. The Chinese have the support of the developing world which makes up most of the global population. So they have vast human resources and a manufacturing platform to build on. The US will be too busy exercising their second amendment rights on each other to notice the world is leaving them behind. ↑:7 ↓:2
