While I enjoy your videos, I think you're cleverly capitalising on a market - most China videos (especially from expats living there) focus on the negative. I lived there for five years, and never a first tier city (such as Shenzhen, Shanghai, Beijing, etc.). I had a real love/hate relationship with the place. I commonly say that I can't talk about my time there with anyone who hasn't lived in China, because they just wouldn't understand. There are massive frustrations to overcome, but then you also have the craziest adventures, most memorable moments, and... truly there is never a dull moment. I think someone put it best with "the Chinese make awful strangers, and wonderful friends". Once you are a friend of a Chinese person (generally) then you are family, but if you are a stranger... you'd better watch out, because you're about to be barged out of the way, or screwed out of some money. I had similar experience last time when I was in China. I saw all those taxis running on the street and there seems to be no passengers but I couldn't get them to stop for me. I am sure they saw me standing on the street trying to get a taxi. Later on, I found out those taxis that couldn't take me because they received orders on the apps so they are on the way to pick up their customers. So I downloaded an app ( ctrip app), and ordered a taxi while standing on the street, 20 seconds later, a taxi showed up in front of me! Now I know in bigger cities it's best to order taxi on line. In small cities, you can grab a taxi on the street. - Like:0

The taxi is a long-existing problem in china, just DON'T take taxi, even local people don't like to take taxi(download DIDI and use DIDI instead). The drivers wont take you mostly because they think the destination is too near so not much money they can make out of the trip (in places like in airport/train station the drivers need to wait in the long line for a VERY long time to get passenger). So just don't take taxi, I had a really bad experience with taxi as well. use DIDI instead. - Like:1

the authorities in China has an atitude now that they are the servants of the people, at least this is the direction they are changing to. I really miss that you can call 110 for just anything and they even ask you to rate their service afterwards. Have lived in different western countries for years I really think China is the best place on earth now... will have to go back after wandering around for a while. - Like:0
