If you need the strongest and second strongest countries of a continent to defeat another country then they are not the strongest. No one but a totally ignorant person would dispute that China is the strongest country in Asia right now only lagging behind Russia a bit in Eurasia in terms of raw wipe you down to glass firepower. India is definitely the second most militarily powerful country in Asia (and the 4th in the world) but the economic gap and manufacturing capability between China and India is fairly large and given a total war scenario with no nukes involved, China should be able to handle India even though it would likely be a meat grinder scenario spanning a decade. Even with south korea and japan in the alliance it won’t be enough to beat China - China’s navy is the largest fleet in the world, even larger than the US. Remember that Pakistan is also a Chinese defacto ally and they’re no slouches. Pakistan while being a totally failed country is still a military power to reckon with - something like a modern Prussia, an army with a country attached, not a country with an army attached. Their main value on top of giving cannon fodder to China will be land access to invade india from the west.

However, at the current trajectory, i see the gap closing, with india becoming powerful and china remaining stagnant, mostly because of better government policies in india ramping up the domestic defence industry. I have a particular question that confuses me: why does India always like to compare itself with China in Asia? As a Chinese person, no one here compares India with China, and Chinese media have never paid much attention to India. Whether in terms of economy or military capabilities, there is no comparison, especially when it comes to the quality of citizens. I can't understand why people in the same country can be divided into different racial castes, where those considered lower caste lack opportunities and are often oppressed, while a small group considers it normal to trample on the human rights of their fellow countrymen. The entire country shows no respect or protection for women. I don't know where their government is in all of this. If such behavior happened in China, it would be condemned by the entire nation. I don't understand why Koreans are so confident, thinking Korea as very strong. As someone who has lived in China for 36 years, I can say that 15 years ago, the only country we wanted to catch up with was Japan, and now, our eyes were only on the United States. India and Korea should stop making these absurd and contemptuous statements.
