Protests are important in democracies.
When riots break out, the protesters are mostly silenced (by the rioters), but the riots are a symptom of something deeply wrong in the state.
Riots are caused by a multitude of reasons, but any one single reason won’t cause a riot by itself.
It would take a lot of history, engagement and research to understand why these specific riots are cooking off at the moment.

抗议在民主国家很重要。
当发生暴乱时，抗议者大多被(暴徒)压制住了，但暴乱是这个国家某些严重错误的征兆。
